Urophilia
Urophilia, also known as Urolagnia, is a fetish that involves sexual arousal from the act of urination or the sight, smell, or taste of urine. It can be considered a subcategory of the broader fetish of bodily fluids, which may include other bodily fluids such as sweat, saliva, or semen.
The term "urophilia" is derived from the Greek words "ouron" (meaning "urine") and "philia" (meaning "love" or "attraction to"). Semantically, the term refers to a sexual attraction or fetish involving urine. It is also sometimes referred to as "urolagnia", which has a similar meaning and is derived from the Greek words "ouron" and "lagneia" (meaning "lust" or "desire"). Both terms are used to describe a sexual preference for urine or the act of urination and are typically considered to be paraphilia (a classical term used to describe types of sexual behavior that are outside the norm).
People who have urophilia may be aroused by a variety of aspects related to urine, such as the smell, taste, sound, or sight of it. They may enjoy urinating on themselves or others, being urinated on, or tasting, licking, and drinking urine. Some may enjoy watching others urinate, while others may find pleasure in the act of urinating on themselves. Some may also enjoy the sound of urine when it comes out of the body (the so-called "whistling") or the sound of falling drops of urine or the splashing of a stream of urine or the sound of a stream hitting a surface.
Arousal from the smell of urine is particularly common, including the smell of dried urine, both in the form of an odor in a room (e.g. uncleaned toilet) and from urine-stained underwear or a human body that smells strongly of urine.
In some cases of urophilia, the sight of urine, especially its rich color, including urine stains on underwear or clothing is quite enough to cause excitement.
Urophilia can manifest in different ways and can range from a mild interest to a full-blown fetish that dominates a person's sexual desires. Some people may engage in the gratification of this fetish only occasionally or as part of a wider range of sexual activities, including Dominance and submission, while others may require the presence of urine to achieve sexual satisfaction.
